Meetings are at 7.30 pm in the Guide Hall, Whyke Lane.

18 April 2023: Speaker: Becky Shaw. “Make a Posy” Flower demonstration.

16 May 2023: King’s Coronation Celebration. A party to celebrate the coronation.

Also discussion of final Resolutions for National AGM.

20 June 2023: Speaker: Joseph Seaman. Informative talk by local optician.

18 July 2023: Speaker: Rev Nicholas Henderson. “ Whatever Happened after Henry VIII”

15 August 2023: Summer Social: More details to follow but this is likely to be a daytime meeting at a local attraction.

19 September 2023: Speaker: Sheila Willis – “Handbags to Handcuff.”

17 October 2023: Speaker: Representative from Homestart – talks about the important work of this charity.

Followed by games evening.

21 November 2023: Speaker: Lesley Raphael – “Laughter Yoga”. Discover a simple tool for improved health and wellbeing.

12 December 2023: Christmas Party. (Note earlier date). A fun social evening with the usual mix of games and chat.

Refreshments: Wine, soft drinks and please bring a small plate of food to share.
