- The name of your WI
- A title for each image
- When and where each photograph was taken.
Full details will also be on the West Sussex Federation Website. Each WI member is permitted up to 4 entries. All photographs should be taken in West Sussex and entrants should indicate which month their photograph represents.
Each photograph that is used will win the owner £10. There will be a special prize for the most outstanding photograph which will be presented at the Federation Annual Meeting in October 2026.

Itinerary
Day 1: Tuesday
We start at Pease Pottage and pick you up from your local pick-up points. Once everyone is on board our coach, we make our way to Salisbury, a Cathedral city of ageless beauty and captivating history, Salisbury has been welcoming travellers since 1227. Visit the spectacular Cathedral, Arundells – the medieval home of Edward Heath, or the Salisbury Museum – to mention just a few of the wonderful museums available. Alternately, explore the narrow pedestrianised centre or Market Square. We have time for sightseeing and refreshments before we continue our journey, arriving at out hotel late afternoon. Tonight, dinner is included at your hotel.
Day 2: Wednesday
We visit Bristol’s historic harbour-side and the iconic steamship SS Great Britain. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel; the ship lies at the heart of a multi-award-winning visitor attraction. You can explore the ship with your guide from the sumptuous surrounds of the First-Class Dining Saloon to the cramped bunks in steerage. This afternoon we relax on the river during our 2-hour cruise. We travel through the city past famous harbourside landmarks and upstream onto rural stretches of the Avon past riverbanks and weeping willows. Our informative commentary is the perfect way to introduce you to Bristol’s maritime history and its origins. Tonight, take your choice of the eateries in this bustling city.
Day 3: Thursday
After breakfast, we make our way to beautiful Bath, a wellbeing destination since Roman times and where we meet our guide. The waters are still a big draw today, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. Bath’s stunning, honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel and has a compact, visitor-friendly centre, overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain. After lunch, we make our way to The American Museum & Gardens, home to American stories, decorative arts, folk art and textiles, special exhibitions, and acres of wildlife-friendly gardens. We make our way back to hotel giving you time to freshen up before you choose tonight’s city centre restaurant.
Day 4: Friday
Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we make our way to Lacock, where there is time to get refreshments and explore the wonderful village, abbey, gardens, museum and house once home to William Henry Fox Talbot, inventor of the photographic negative. We re-join our coach and head straight to our first drop off at Chichester. We continue our journey homewards arriving back in Pease Pottage late afternoon.
